Join SMACNA-KC & Anvil Agrinomics for a behind-the-scenes tour of the ShowMe Organics cannabis cultivation and manufacturing facility, one of the largest operations of its kind in the Kansas City area.
As the Engineer of Record for the facility, Anvil Agrinomics will walk attendees through the real-world mechanical systems that make a large-scale cannabis operation possible. Sheet metal and air conditioning contractors will get an up-close look at HVAC equipment, ductwork, environmental controls, ventilation and exhaust systems, odor control, and the specialized systems required to maintain precise temperature, humidity, pressure, and airflow throughout the facility.
The tour will highlight the installation and coordination challenges contractors face when working in cultivation, extraction, and manufacturing spaces, as well as lessons learned from designing, building, and operating these highly specialized systems. This is an opportunity to get beyond the drawings and see how the systems are actually installed, how they operate, and what makes cannabis facilities different from conventional commercial and industrial projects.
