SDS Online Subscription
As an added service to our Member Contractors, SMACNA KC subscribes to 3E SDS On Demand from 3E. This service enables you to receive live assistance 24-hours a day, 7 days a week for all Safety Data Sheet (SDS) requests. Anytime. Anywhere. The SDS can be delivered to you immediately via email or fax at the destination address you specify. Language interpretation and translation assistance is available for non-English speaking requestors. Access to the SDS hotline is available within five business days from the effective date of the contract. The program provides 24-7-365 toll free telephone access to our entire database of SDSs. 3E records and documents all calls. Upon request, you may have activity reports scheduled for delivery as frequently as quarterly, bi-annually, or annually at no extra charge. In the event that a required SDS is not available in 3E‘s database, we will obtain the SDS from the manufacturer and forward it to you as soon as possible. The SDS will then be added to the database for immediate and future access. WHEN YOU CALL IN, YOU WILL NEED TO IDENTIFY YOUR COMPANY AS BEING WITH "SMACNA" TO ACCESS OUR ACCOUNT.
How to access SDS On Demand

Please do not fax emergency SDS requests, call immediately!
To ensure your request is quickly processed, it is extremely important to provide as much of the following information as possible:
• Product Name
• Manufacturer name
• Product number
• UPC code (if available)
Please be as specific as possible when requesting an SDS (e.g. Sherwin Williams, clear acrylic paint, #1303). Separate SDSs are maintained for products that have very minor differences from others (e.g. colors, aerosol vs. pourable, concentrated vs. ready-to-use).
Note: When you call 3E to request an SDS, you will be asked to provide your contact phone number, fax number and email address for SDS delivery. Please have this information readily available. This will ensure that you receive your information at the appropriate location as quickly as possible.
How to receive the requested SDS
Upon completion of your SDS request, 3E can fax, email or mail directly to your facility or to whomever you have specified on your request form (e.g. a customer, client, hospital). If you would like the request to be forwarded somewhere other than your facility, please complete the section labeled “Purchaser Information” on the request form.
3E also provides printable stickers, wallet cards and posters. Please see the provided PDF sheet for instructions.
