Asbestos Awareness – Trained before initial job assignment…updated every (1) year
Respiratory Protection (Respirator Use) – medical evaluation/fit test…annual re-training on respirator use
Fire Protection Use (fire extinguishers) – before initial job assignment/repeated annually
Hand Tools – before initial job assignment/operation of the tool
Welding/Cutting – before initial job assignment/employee orientation
Fall Protection – before initial job assignment/company specific for retraining
Scaffolding/Aerial Lifts – before initial job assignment/equipment specific training required
Material Handling – Every 3 years…specific to the equipment being used
Electrical – before initial job assignment/employee orientation
Occupational Noise Exposure – before initial assignment/repeated annually
Personal Protective Equipment – before initial job assignment/employee orientation
Lockout/Tagout – before initial job assignment/when new procedures introduced/annually for employees directly involved in LOTO/machine specific
Powered Industrial Trucks – before initial job assignment/re-certification every (3) three years/or after near miss, unsafe operation, failure of operator evaluation
Overhead Gantry Cranes – before initial job assignment/employee orientation
Mechanical Power Presses – before initial job assignment/repeated annually
