ADVANCED LEADERSHIP COURSE
October 17th, 2024, Leadership Workshop Graduating Class, 21 SMACNA Contractor employees completed our second Advanced Leadership Program 

January 4th, 2024, Leadership Workshop Graduating Class SMACNA KC is proud to announce that 18 SMACNA Contractor employees completed our very first Advanced Leadership Program developed and led by Rob Marriott, an industry mentor and training consultant. This was a 3-day intensive look at all aspects of our industry with a focus on leadership through communication, culture, attitude, and professionalism by reviewing many aspects of our industry that most participants do not have the opportunity to experience, such as bid day activities and the financial side of the business. We had several guest speakers providing their expertise, as well as seasoned members of Local 2 sharing their career paths and the opportunities available in the trade, and we sincerely thank those individuals. 

SMACNA KC thanks the contractors who invested in their employees and allowed them to attend this course; we hope the experience enriches both the union member and the employer! Some of the comments we heard about this course from the attendees:
