SUBJECT: OSHA’s New Silica Standard
WHEN: Tuesday, April 25th 7:00am
WHERE: Eggtc. at 50th & Main in Kansas City, MO
PRESENTER: Facilitated by the SMACNA-KC Safety Committee, this will be a roundtable discussion of how the new OSHA standard for Silica will affect SMACNA contractors.
TIME: Approximately one hour
WHY ATTEND: Like all new OSHA standards, there are many unknowns about the new Silica standard. Slated for implementation of enforcement on June 23rd of this year, that time is quickly approaching. Understanding your company’s obligations is the first step in compliance. All levels of management, including Superintendents and Foremen need to know their roles. This roundtable discussion promises to be more informative than watching a webinar or listening to a lecture. Bring your questions and be prepared to share your thoughts and knowledge.
Please RSVP to C.J. by Monday, April 17th at 12:00pm.
