Clarification of Article 6 - Radius Map

In order to clarify implementation of the terms of Article 6 as amended and the use of the radius map the following is provided:

 

  1. For contracts already in progress where labor is being performed the terms of Article 6 will continue under the current contract, i.e. the map will apply.
  2. For projects that exist but no labor has been performed as of 1 July 2010 the terms of the revised Article 6 will apply, i.e. the radius will apply.
  3. For all projects put under contract after 1 July 2010 the revised Article 6 will apply, i.e. the radius will apply.
  4. In all cases related to the use of the radius map it is strongly recommended that Local 2 be contacted so that there is concurrence about where the project is located within the radius. This is particularly important if the project is outside or thought to be outside the radius.
